My favorite place, not just at home, but in the whole wide world is that place called "in his arms." MIn my husband's arms, is warmth, comfort, and love.
Ooops. This is my first time to do this. And I got a bit flustered and confused with the timing. Anyway, allow me a corrected version of my 1-minute comment.

I love this idea! It's a great motivator to write. And it helps jump start creativity. Thanks for this site.
My favorite place is in my bed where i can sit before i fall asleep and reflect on the day and think about everything needed to accomplish in the next. i am warm, comfortable and my real thoughts ring true as i have only myself to listen too.
When I've been stressed and I need to just switch gears for awhile, my favorite place is the kitchen to cook a big meal. When I'm at the end of my rope and need some sensory deprivation, my favorite place is the bathroom, in a warm bath. And when I'm exhausted, my favorite place is my bedroom, under my down comforter.
my favorite spot would be inside my bedroom.. (or should i say 'our') too bad i share it with my sister, coz there are many times when i want to be alone, to think, read, write or to simply spend the day daydreaming. :P
It depends on the mood and the timing; kitchen as it brings everyone together for some quality time and good smells; living room sitting next to my hubby with the fireplace going; bedroom when needing some quiet time and special time with my hubby; front room when needing to get closer to the Lord and read the Bible and of course get on here. :)
It's a difficult one this. I like to be on my mum's knee whilst she tickles my ears or under the dining table when my Uncle Hugh eats his dinner, because he always drops food on the floor. It's quite good in my basket next to the radiator too.
The best one is my kitchen... everything begins and ends in my kitchen... Ive got averything I need... chocolate, coffee and my Pc to check recipes.... Oh gosh one minute is just so quick...
My bed is my favorite place in the world. Even though I am usually there by myself, I love my pillows, I love my blankets, I love the firmness of my mattress. I can read, write, watch TV, chat on the phone all from underneath my warm electric blanket.
My favorite place in my home is front of my bookcases. I tend to roam all over the world and while I take books with me (and buy them on the road) there is nothing I like better than lavishing attention on my bookshelves. After a long trip I can never sleep until I've trailed my fingers over my favorite volumes...
My favorite place is in my comfy chair facing the television. I don't care what is on TV, as long a my little dog, Fred is cuddled up next to me. He is a chihuahua. i always had big dogs and never thought I would like a little dog, but Fred is the best. He makes all my bad days weem worth it.
My favorite place is in my rocking chair in front of the window. I love to watch the kids playing outside. Usually I will cozy up there with a blanket with one or more of my kids and just have fun.
Believe it or not, my favorite place in my house is probably my restroom. I get to sit in there and get away from the busy world right outside my door and think. With 4 kids, I love to hang out with them, but sometimes I like to get away and hide. It's the perfect place to do so.
the kitchen... hands down. i am most creative, most productive, and feel most capable in my kitchen. i told my partner the other day, if i could create in the kitchen all day long and get paid for it, i think i'd be a happier person. like someone else said, the coffee's there, too... and that's sooo important!
My favorite place in my home has to be the kitchen. Growing up it was the gathering place for my family. I remember sitting around the kitchen table with both Grandmothers and listening to wonderful stories. I really miss them!
My first thought was anywhere warm with my dog and a good book. But because my day is usually too busy to allow that very often, I have to say my kitchen. It's big, bright, airy, and best of all sunny! It's where people are drawn. It just feels good in there.
My favorite place in the world is the place where I can stand outside my house and hear the salsa music, smell the picadillo cooking, and feel the happiness of a hispanic community. Miami.
Soaking in a hot bath, with a mystery novel in one hand, a glass of wine in the other, some ambient light and the delicious smell of a warm vanilla sugar candle burning..... these delightful thoughts make it a bit hard to concentrate on the workday ahead!
Well, I guess my room. It's relaxing, there's a TV to watch, books to read, and a bed to sleep in. I have my own little cave, and my desk. I can always crochet, too. I really love it. Well, when it's clean!
My favorite place in my house is probably my bed.. after I wake up. Especially when I can continue lying there. I love the feeling of being encapsulated in my warm, soft covers and looking at the mirror for the reflection of the sky through my window.
My favorite place in the world is my bedroom. My husband, my son and our chihuahua like to tangle and snuggle and play on weekends. Time passes too quickly for us to not enjoy such carefree moments.
My favorite place in my house is in my big comfy living room chair with my dog half on the large foot rest and his head in my lap -- I read, watch TV, browse online and enjoy the moments with him in the chair.
my desk is my favorite spot. it's an antique writer's desk that i bought from my favorite store, Room Service. On top of my desk is my little, white lamp that used to belong to my Mom, my dell laptop, a stack of my favorite books with a bunch of vintage, glass grapes on top... and an empty peanut butter "bear jar" filled with my favorite pairs of sunglasses. There are three large windows of the wall that my desk sits up against and behind me in one corner of the room is a fireplace. In the other corner is an antique cabinet that used to belong to my grandmother. This is the coziest spot in my apartment for sure.
My comfy reading chair in the bedroom where no one disturbs me and I can disappear into whatever book I am reading at the time. Usually only able to be used during my son's bathtime (about 20 minutes) but it is 20 minutes of heaven!
I recently bought a new king-size bed, and I love it. My favorite place is not just the bed, but laying on the bed while looking at my stained-glass lamp. Ring of orange and green dragonflies dancing around a wash of blue and purple. That is where I can relax and think.
One of my favorite places is the dining room table where we eat AND my husband and I always play a board game during meals. May sound corny, but it works for us!
I don't have one in my current house. In my old house my favorite spot was the screened in back porch. I used to sit out there when it rained and I had a creek that ran through my back yard it was a great place to think and write.
My favorite place is where I can write without being interrupted every two seconds; where my kids do their chores and homework without duress; where my husband and I can have "our" time without the inevitable baby cry or knock at the door; where work isn't stressful; where the dogs can run free; where I can be me. That place also includes a foot rub, a hot cabana boy, and margaritas all around!
My favourite place in the house is the sofa that sits just under our dining room window. It's the perfect spot to curl up to read or watch the birds that frequent the feeder in our yard. I am constantly amazed at how much life exists in our small city yard. Other frequent visitors include small beige hares that nibble on the clover in summer, and the tender roots of shrubs in winter, diligent chipmunks that spend hours cleaning up the seeds the birds throw away, and grey and red squirrels that chase one another through the hedges to the tree branches and electrical wires overhead.
My three season room...combination sitting room, dining room and atrium. It has windows on three sides with views of the woods on the left, the stream on the right and wildflowers in the front. It's a great place to grow plants and flowers and to view nature.
My place is laying out in the backroom on the futon. With my fiance in the room and new puppy at my feet. Its cold in there, but with the right fleece and a good book, it is a great place to be..
I would have to say my desk. It is surrounded by all my favorite things. (mostly photographs) I can sit here and keep in touch with all my friends and relatives that live a long distance from me. I can do my work from here. I love sitting here next to my husband's desk and having coffee in the am.
My favorite place has to be my dinning room. I love its wallpapered walls, its view, the hutch with all my things in it.The pricilla curtians.reminds me a bit of the olden days feels really quaint, and homey.
I have a formal living room, or front room and while it is not really formal in the definition of formal, it is always clean and uncluttered. I should like it best, it has my plants and my clocks and my skeleton keys and my books. But it's too open. It's open to the dining room, which is open to the kitchen. I feel exposed...I feel like I need some containment. (this is so weird ) so I like the family room better. It has the TV ---but I like my books better...it has the computer and my desk and it is smaller and more intimate. It feels warmer and ..... and I just ran out of time.
The dog porch. I'm always greeted by happy faces. No matter what the day has been like, I walk outside to the dogs' porch, and get kisses and lots of happy feelings.
Well, first of all, I am so dumb about the computer that all I know how to do is publish anonymously. I don't know what a google blogger is, or an open ID, or a name with a URL. And I'm nervous about using my real name to post, and my memory is so terrible that if I pick a fake name I won't remember what it is tomorrow if I should post again. So I'm so glad this site is friendly to people like me who are just barely hanging on in this high tech world.
When I was a kid my favorite place in the world to be was in the closet. I propped a flashlight to point upward and that was my campfire. I sat and listened to my little crystal radio that Dad has helped me build from a kit. Or I listened to a transistor radio. I would pretend I was alone in the woods and I would day dream about far away places and adventures I would have in a make-believe world.
Now that I'm an adult, my favorite place to be in the house is my rocking chair, with a craft project on my lap.
My room is my most favorite place to be in my house! I've spent a lot of time (and money) getting things to look and feel the way I want them too -- so I appreciate it so much more than I ever have. Sometimes I wish it wasn't as cluttered, but until I can move out on my own -- and have an entire house to fill with my stuff, I guess it's just something I can't let worry me. So, other than the clutter...my room is my most favorite place to be in my house!
Since I have been married for almost 10 yrs, have two adorable, active noisy children, a dog, a cat and a phone that rings off the hook, you would think my favorite place would be me, locked in the bathroom, soaking in the tub. Nope. My favorite place is sitting on the floor in the kids' rooms just soaking up the fact that I am a mom, while I listen to the children breathe the soft breath of sleep.
Since moving into our new house, I have found the guest bedroom to be my favorite place. It is the only room in the house that looks decorated. There is a comfy chair where I read or sew or write. For some reason, when I close the door to that room, the three children and husband can't seem to find me. It is other worldly. The fish just look at me at grin. We sit in that room together, both swimming in quiet happiness.
My favorite place in laying in bed with my new husband talking about our day or laughing about something or just smelling our stinky dogs who try to climb on the bed without us noticing.
My favourite place can change easily depending on the day but ONE of my favourites is snuggled up on my daughter's bottom bunk, after a hard day, maybe after I've shouted at her and we've made amends and she tells me about her day, the good and the bad and I tell her about mine. Then we talk about tomorrow. Sometime I wake up an hour later and have to sneak away while she snores. Being a mum really has its rewards and a warm, snuggly kid is one of them.
My favorite place in my house is my basement. I love it there because I can just relax with the nice flat screen TV. I also have my Xbox down there where I can enjoy playing some video games. There's a nice long couch and some recliners down there too. It's just a great place to RELAX!!!
We only live in a very small aprartment, but I like the living room. We overlook the ocean and it's always sunny. This is the room where we all meet, where my baby plays, where we eat at a little table in the corner. I write in here, read in here, do yoga in here. And when we have visitors this is where they come. This is a friendly room and is full of life.
Funny, a couple of years ago before children I might have said the bedroom where I could sleep and have some privacy...things change.
I love to be in my home because of the safety that I feel here. I am a student so I do not have all of the comforts of having my own home. I do however have the comfort of having roommates who are respectful. Today I got a new roommate named Andrew!
Well..this is my first time...so..my fav place in my home..may be is somewhere around my audio system..because i love the Music and i think i can't live without her..and my system is in my room, so may be the fav place is right there.. :D
Outdoors on my property. We have nearly an acre of heavily wooded land and I enjoy sitting, listening, and having my dog, Belle, sitting at my side. Always Write (Joel)
My favourite place in my home is the solarium. It's sort of like a fishtank - all windows overlooking the city from 22 floors above. It's filled with plants - ivy, pine trees, palm trees, clover, and even things like garlic that I planted. On every plant is a toy bird.
My favorite place is snuggled on the couch with my red polartec blanket and a cat in my lap. Well, I have two cats so, often, there are 2 cats in my lap. Therefore, it is QUITE snuggly. Other than that, I really like to snuggle with my husband. ( I love our queen sized bed for that... king bed is just too big... too far away for bodies to touch. Queen is JUST RIGHT!)
My favorite place is aa comfy, overstuffed cahir in our den. It's just the right size to curl up in, feet on the ottoman. With a snuggly quilt and good book, it's heaven!
At our last house, the kitchen was small, and I had trouble finding enough countertop space and storage space. We have been tremendously blessed in our current home, with a much larger kitchen--lots of countertop and storage space. It's my favorite room in the house.
Gege--Don't worry; typos are part of the deal; I end up finding them in my posts too. :) Welcome!
The Johnson 5--That is a good way to look at it! I've had a child in my bed so much during the last 3 years.... Maybe I can focus more on the cuddles and less on the interrupted sleep.
Laura Jayne--Lovely little poem!
Pastor Tony--I understand that, even with only 2 kids!
wiremog--Mmm, naughty snacks. I have a cream-filled cupcake waiting for me to indulge in tonight.
blue.eyed.beauty:]--Your post was so descriptive; I'd like to come visit! (Especially if I could get some of that good ethnic cooking!)
Eric and Carol--It's been several weeks since I finished a mystery novel--your comment makes me think I may need to pick up another one.
Cathy--Doesn't sound corny to me; I'd join you if I was there. :) (You know that's true!)
Sissi--So your place is in Neverland? :D
Jannilynn--Great, descriptive writing!
Anonymous non-technical person--Great post, and welcome! You can always feel free to sign your post with just an initial or first name, but only if you want. It's also fine to remain anonymous. Hope to see you again!
Hedgie--Love the poem.
Paula--So sweet! Sleeping children are beautiful; love their peaceful little faces.
Tring life--I agree!
high heels--Another fun poem--I'm loving this!
Sarahjane--My husband was told the same thing before we got married, and while we have liked our queen-sized bed it does get crowded with a kid (or two) in it!
my favorite place is near the wood stove in the winter, with a book and a cup of tea, in the summer it may be up on the roof sunbathing. in the yard, i like to be splitting wood for the fire ( can you tell I live in the mountains?)
My favourite place when I was a child was underneath this tiny little set of stairs that led onto a raised area in our living room. I would hide under there with my comics and Goosebumps books and read them by torchlight, even in the middle of the day. It was my save little haven away from the world but close enough to the kitchen to grab a snack and close enough to the bathroom as to not have an accident.
I was a travel agent for a number of years because guess what, I love to travel! Go Figure! When I discovered Amsterdam...I was beyond thrilled. I love the people the architecture and the history.
As a southern-bred person, I would have to say it's the front porch. Where else can one feel the great outdoors and still have the comforts of house and home?
A fallen log in the woods by my house. It's all rotted and mossy, but I love sitting there with my cat and talking to myself. It helps me sort out my problems.
My favorite place is a place I've never been. I've only read about it's streets of gold, the winding river, and the tree of life. Many sweet souls I know and have loved have made it home before me. They await my return to them just as much as I anticipate their faces as my welcoming committee! Heave is a wonderful place!
I love my kitchen with its cow wallpaper. The large pine kitchen table that has held family dinners for various relatives for 50 plus years. The picture on the wall painted by a farmer friend of my grandparents. And my cuckoo clock from Germany that plays music.
Definitely my kitchen. It the hub of all activity in our home and where I can always be found. It is bright, comfortable, and there is always a good snack! :-)
I found your site from Blogs of Note. Congratulations! I think this is a great idea and will be back often.
My favorite place is not in the house at all. It is driving down the road with my husband or sons. We have some of our best conversations while in the car. I really enjoy these times together.
I love this site! Thanx for doing it! My fav place at home is my big blue & white chair! It fits me like a comfy nest for writing, praying, reading & phone chatting.
www.amypotts-author.embarqspace.com My favorite place is the beach or the bay. I sit and ponder about my life and pray while I watch the water. The beach soothes my senses with the waves crashing or rippling at my toes. I think God must really like the water too since it was one of the first things he created!
My favourite place in my home is just a few feet outside my home.... where I scratch away in a vegie garden wondering where I planted the asparagus last year, forgetting what sort of seed I sowed yesterday, and discovering new vegies and flowers every day. That's the best thing about being so forgetful - it's accompanied by the joy of discovery!
My favorite place in the whole world is my front porch. I site on my comfy lawn chair after the sun goes down, with my laptop and my cat...and usually a cold beverage. That's when I write and read. I love the sounds of the night...especially when a storm is brewing. That's my favorite!
Ah, so many choices! You make me realize how much I love home! The kitchen counter with the sun streaming in, the overcrowded office, the glider in my little Norah's room, the bay window in our bedroom, autumn leaves swirling in the backyard . . . .
I always wanted a pink bedroom. But no one ever gave me one. So one day, I took hold of paint and brush and made it myself. Now, that bedroom - that lavish, warm, comfy pink bedroom is like an oasis. It symbolizes my determination. It shelters me from the world. &nd no matter how many years pass, or where life takes me - I always come home to that room, to my bed, to my childhood dreams and my present dreams...and sitting there, reading there, sleeping there, relaxing there...I'm convinced that anything is possible.
My home is my apartment, it is my castle, it is my comfort blanket. My home is where my heart is. That said, the favorite place in my home is my kitchen. I love to cook, I love to eat, and I love expierementation. All of that is able to be done in one room, so it is my sanctuary. The heat from the stove, the smell of the seasonings, and the... oh crap, out of time
Right where I'm sitting now, I suppose. This soft chair, at my handsome desk, reading and learning. This is where I'm happiest. I can forget about the clutter and cat hair and involve myself fully in the adventures of my mind.
I just found you today, and am glad I did. Thanks for this great site!
I did take part in The One minute Writer I posted it on my blog. I actually did it this morning but forgot to leave comment that I had done it. I did link the post back to The One Minute Writer blog.
My favorite place in our house is our back deck, while sitting down or lying down on our swing with my 2 puppies!! I like looking at the beautiful mountains around me. It's so peaceful, so pristine, and it's my "breathing space!"
My fav place in my home is at the window where I can spend hours looking out at the tree which hosts a lot of birds and squirrels, look out at the rain or read a book or just be lost in thought!
My desk with this computer is my favorite place, thus far. From here I have so many levels of reality to experience, especially the most important one of all: when I realize I've spent too much time on the computer, shut it off and go outside.
My favorite place at home is in the barn with horses bedded down for the night.... Unless its a cold night then snuggled with my babies on the couch in the living room.
Our kitchen is an island concept with a bar counter. It's my family's favourite hangout, we eat, munch, talk, chat, use the laptop, cook, almost everything..
http://wealth-inspiredbooks.blogspot.com/ ...inspiring wealth into your life
My favorite place in my house is at the foot of my bed. Thank goodness we have a long room, because that's where you'll find Mad's crib. And just on the other side of her crib is the rocking chair my father gave me. We spend a lot of peaceful time in that space.
Funny how my living room has 2 chairs and two couches, but I spend most of my time at home on one cushion of one couch. I also sometimes sit at my kitchen table - painting, reading, writing, or eating. And when not there I occasionally cook, clean, or pretty myself to venture out into the world.
My favorite place is the family room after the kids have gone to bed. While the TV news is on in the back, I will type on the computer, sitting on the couch, with my cat sleeping next to me.
I have to say my favorite place in my home is in the kitchen. It's a place to nourish my family, and to make wonderful creations. I can also do many other things in my kitchen such as reflecting while preparing food if no one wants to help me at that time.
If I judge it by how much time I spend there - probably my bed! But otherwise, my desk, where I can look out the window to the river when the computer seems a little too close. Or perhaps the kitchen, because I do like to cook - and eat. Or maybe the garden, especially when it's warm and sunny.
My Favorite place at home is Kitchen..Because this is where we eat our delicious food and at the same time share happy moments that happens in that day....
My comfy chair in the living room, where I can enjoy a good book or a good movie, while sipping a cold beer, or a hot tea, whichever the case may be. Sometimes I'll put on the TV and do some work in my sketchpad while sitting in that chair. A great place to be.
Definitely the kitchen Table. 1. I love to cook. 2. I love to eat, even more. 3. I love entertaining. 4. Good conversation always happens around good food, and good friends. 5. It's one place I can count on to have all of my family gathered at least once a day.
Wow I would say right now that is my bedroom, but my fiance is right there right now and I'm pissed off with him so I came down here. Right now, it's the living room, with the computer and the door to the outside world. Sometimes I'm feeling locked up, like I was gonna die. But I wish I could feel happiness in the same level, but still can't. Someone know the secret?
My favorite place is my children's playroom. It's bright, sunny, painted a joyful yellow, with a "Family Tree" we added using all of our hands for the leaves. It's a room full of wonderful memories, some still in the making.
My den, or as I like to call it, "The Command Pod". My PC is there, as well as other personal items that I have collected over the years. It's not always the tidiest of places, but I can usually find whatever I'm looking for there.
My favorite place is sitting in a chair on moms front porch on Cherry Mountain with a warm cup of coffee in my hand, and a warm blanket in my lap ... and the scent of bacon wafting from the kitchen.
My favorite place at home is my room. It is quiet and all my favorite books are there. It's very calm and peacful. Well, thats how i feel about it. Most people get freaked out in there b/c I have posters all over the walls.
My favorite place in my house is my bedroom. I love just snuggling up in my bed alone or with my hubby or with any of the kids in my bed. I would spend all day everyday there if it was possible. It is either the hottest (in the summer) or coldest (in the winter) room in the house but I still love it!
The kitchen used to be my favorite place to be. Now I am not sure. since the death of my foodaholic son in july I am without a favorite place. I will find another at some point.
I wish I could say I had a favorite place in my "home" (aka my tiny apartment) but I don't. When I think of home, I think of my mom's, where I grew up. My favorite place there is the swing in the front yard that sits underneath the lilac tree. It's especially my favorite in the spring/summer. =)
My favorite place in my home home (not my school apartment) is my bedroom. It's the only place where I can get away from my mom and step-dad and immerse myself in whatever it is I want to do--usually reading. At my apartment/school home, my favorite place is my shower. My house is always so cold that I love to just turn the shower on full-heat and stand there. (Or, my bed...I can literally curl up in a ball there and read ALL DAY, EVERY DAY.)
Well I love my bedroom. There is always books by the lamp table, some mug with tea, pens and a notebook. Yes my bedroom is a mess. The cds are not in their right places, the clothes, the memories...but I love this mess.
I love my bed most of all, because it is my safest place. It is sheltered overhead because it is a bunk bed, and I really like that. My clothes and school bags and everything I own are all within arm's reach, except the books and clothes that are in my closet. One day, I will enjoy having more room to place my items and arrange all of my beautiful books, instead of just cramming everything into a box by my bed or on a too-small bookshelf.
my bed. pretty unoriginal but so true! Its the best place to have cuddles, be with my husband, snuggle my cat or have cuddles with my daughter. and of course, the best thing one can do in a bed and my favourite thing of all at the moment: SLEEP!!! 30 secs to go...oh well in my other house it was my kitchen cuz I love to cook and its all nice and sunny there :-)
My favorite place in my home, it would be a tie between the kitchen and my reading chair. I love to cook and to bake, I especially love to bake cookies and pies during the holidays. Every Christmas season I go cookie baking marathon crazy by baking 9 different kinds of cookies, then deliver the cookies to friends and neighbors. I recycle coffee containers and use them to store the cookies in when I deliver them to the neighbors. I get such a kick out of my neighbors faces when I deliver the home baked cookies to them. My favorite reading chair is usually occupied by my rather plump cat, it is the only time she hisses at me, when I make her move over, or get out of "my chair" completely.
My favourite place in my home is snuggled between two or more cats purring magnificently with a dog's snout firmly planted on my foot.Usually it's the longest couch ..as more room is needed by all to cozy in..
My master bathroom. It is a sanctuary for me. A deep, jetted tub. I drain the hot water tank, and then cool the water down with some cold water. I put in favorite scent. The walls are a deep green. Vaulted ceiling with skylight. Van Gogh on the wall, dim lights. It is perfect.
my favourite place has to be my bedroom, normally when im the only person in house i like being there, sitting on my bed reading a book i like, reflecting upon things that i've done, checking my mail, sipping coffee while chatting with my friends or just simply rest by covering myself from head to toe with my favourite blanket.
my favorite place is my bedroom. though i sleep with my young brother that always bother me, when i was studying or sleeping, but it's fun, because no place as comfortable as bedroom!

My bed. Snuggled up under a nice warm duvet with my boyfriends arms round me, as we fall asleep at night. Its also my favourite part of the day.
I'm going to have to go with in my bed with my husband and cat. That is the best place in the house & the world to me.

My bed, man how I love that bed, with my husband right next to me.
And then at some point through out the night one of my 3 children make their way into it also. I love to wake up surrounded by babies!

my favorite spot would be inside my bedroom.. (or should i say 'our') too bad i share it with my sister, coz there are many times when i want to be alone, to think, read, write or to simply spend the day daydreaming. :P
My roof...Where people have laughed ,cried and just been together over so many years!
Up the stairs
turn to the right
through the door
that locks
Slip under the covers
his arm pulls me tight
and gentle kiss
peace
On my sofa, with my boyfriend and my kitty, under a blanket watching rubbishy TV! With wine and naughty snacks :)

Wow -- that minute goes by quickly!
my desk is my favorite spot. it's an antique writer's desk that i bought from my favorite store, Room Service.
As I wrote in my blog, it's the living room.
http://silvrstar.blogspot.com/
On my deck.
http://divanaturally.blogspot.com/2008/11/my-favorite-place.html
My favorite place is where I can write without being interrupted every two seconds; where my kids do their chores and homework without duress; where my husband and I can have "our" time without the inevitable baby cry or knock at the door; where work isn't stressful; where the dogs can run free; where I can be me. That place also includes a foot rub, a hot cabana boy, and margaritas all around!
My favourite place is my bedroom, there`s all i need and i can be me in this room.
That`s the place i spend most of my time.
Well, my favourite place has to be my bedroom. More specifically my bed!
When you're in bed it's almost like you're shut away from the world. Safe, secure, comfy and warm.
Tracy Emin did her piece of 'art' the bed. She said it was because it was like a womb at her darkest hour keeping her safe.
Also, it's where the magic happens!
Fun stuff :D
My favorite place in our house it the living room, it is the one place we have finished decorating and looks like a room. I love it.
"Favorite Place"
My favorite place,
love,
is where you are --
kitchen, den, laundry room,
bed.
My room if I am alone ~ the kitchen if I have friends over and in the Shower with my honey when he comes to visit!
~Josh
In my bedroom, with my granddaughter. Often we are snuggled together in the blankets while watching television.
Of course, there are the moments when the spouse will call for me and drag me (reluctantly) from my comfort zone.
my living room..in front of the tv..
My favorite place is Esna.
Doesn’t matter which buidling,
Doesn’t matter which city,
Doesn’t matter who I’m living with
Much
My best place
Always the best place
Is the warm island of my bed.
I love to be in my home because of the safety that I feel here. I am a student so I do not have all of the comforts of having my own home. I do however have the comfort of having roommates who are respectful. Today I got a new roommate named Andrew!
the bed
I came from Blogs of Note. Congrats.
My favorite place in my home is the shower. I love warm water. I could spend hours in there if I didn't get wrinkled.
Again, congrats. Your blog is great.
Hi! Tagged you for a blog award. Please come by and visit to pick it up!
:) Robin
Ivegas family--Thanks, and welcome!
Robin--How sweet; thank you!
my favorite place is near the wood stove in the winter, with a book and a cup of tea, in the summer it may be up on the roof sunbathing. in the yard, i like to be splitting wood for the fire ( can you tell I live in the mountains?)
congrats on being a blog of note!!
Well...
My favourite place must be... my friends house... Where I can be with all of them.
This blog is really great...
Congratulations!!!
It fits me like a comfy nest for writing, praying, reading & phone chatting.
www.amypotts-author.embarqspace.com
My favorite place is the beach or the bay. I sit and ponder about my life and pray while I watch the water. The beach soothes my senses with the waves crashing or rippling at my toes. I think God must really like the water too since it was one of the first things he created!
Mi lugar favorito es mi cama,
es mi refugio y mi rincĂłn, donde puedo leer un buen libro, hablar por telefĂłno comodamente.
Saludos!!
My favourite place in my home is just a few feet outside my home.... where I scratch away in a vegie garden wondering where I planted the asparagus last year, forgetting what sort of seed I sowed yesterday, and discovering new vegies and flowers every day. That's the best thing about being so forgetful - it's accompanied by the joy of discovery!
my fav. place at home: the patio, outside.
but i'm just happy wherever i am if i'm with him ♥
My favorite place in the whole world is my front porch.
I love to sit on our front deck with my husband and a warm cup of coffee. It's a beautiful view to look over our farm at the lake and mountains.
I like eggs! I like eggs alot! Don't tell me nothing bad about Eggs! Thank you!
My favorite place at home is in the barn with horses bedded down for the night.... Unless its a cold night then snuggled with my babies on the couch in the living room.
my favourite place is by the side of the part of my brain that makes me think of funny things
Ear Falls Ontario
Trout Forest Music Festival
three in the morning
Beer by my side
Guitar in my hand
Paradise
Our kitchen is an island concept with a bar counter. It's my family's favourite hangout, we eat, munch, talk, chat, use the laptop, cook, almost everything..

And when not there I occasionally cook, clean, or pretty myself to venture out into the world.
bed :)
My favorite place in my home is probably the living room. It's a big open space, and I like the sense that most of my home is in this room.
tempat favoritku adalah rumahku, kamarku, halamanku.
tempat yang nyaman.
My favorite place is the family room after the kids have gone to bed. While the TV news is on in the back, I will type on the computer, sitting on the couch, with my cat sleeping next to me.
well done. Clever Idea..
My favorite place in my home is my BED! It is so cozy! It is the one place I feel relaxed and can dream about anything and everything!
My faveorite place, next to the popular comfy bed is the bathroom.
I'm a toiletries freak so I like using anything I just bought.
My favorite place in my home is my room in bed with my laptop or a paper and pen.I love to write and work on my school work via the laptop.
Thanks for the prompt. I linked to your blog on mine:
http://gunma-gal.livejournal.com/128122.html
My sofa. It's comfortable and there I sleep, wathc tv, read, i'm on the laptop... Really cozy:)
I would have to say the bathroom. It may sound weird but its really whee im at peace the most. lol.
http://hippoleetoe.blogspot.com/
Well I love my bedroom.
There is always books by the lamp table, some mug with tea, pens and a notebook.
Yes my bedroom is a mess. The cds are not in their right places, the clothes, the memories...but I love this mess.
the kitchen ...i enjoy cooking ...
I love my bed most of all, because it is my safest place. It is sheltered overhead because it is a bunk bed, and I really like that. My clothes and school bags and everything I own are all within arm's reach, except the books and clothes that are in my closet. One day, I will enjoy having more room to place my items and arrange all of my beautiful books, instead of just cramming everything into a box by my bed or on a too-small bookshelf.
http://skippersdailyblog.blogspot.com/
I love to be in my room and in the bed with my husband. Can't forget my very own spot in the corner with my computer.
my bed. pretty unoriginal but so true!
