How it works

Who's got the time to journal daily? You do.

1. Read the daily writing prompt.
2. Push "Play" on the timer on the right side of the screen.
3. Spend 60 seconds or less writing a response to the daily prompt.

You may respond in the "Comments" section of each post, if your response is family-friendly. Or you can use your word processor, or an old-fashioned pen and paper. It's up to you. Also feel free to use the "Comments" section for informal discussion about the responses that are posted.

If the daily prompt inspires you to write something on your own blog or website, please link back to this site.

Today's Writing Prompt: Most Likely

High schools often name one graduate as "Most Likely to Be Famous." What should your "Most Likely to Be..." title have been in high school?

One-Minute Writing of the Day:
Writer: Hank

Most likely to be referred to as "Who?"

This response made me laugh. Congrats to...uh...what's your name again? Feel free to put a One-Minute Writer WINNER! button on your blog!

My high school peers should have voted me "Most Likely To Not Show Up At Any Future Reunions Because She Figures No One Really Cares."

They would have voted me most likely to stay in school forever. And they would have been right. I eventually got my doctorate. Funny that.

Me? Don't know haven't gotten there yet. Most likely to be a doctor, I hope. Probably, most likely to pick the most challenging and hard to obtain career (missionary surgeon on a floating hospital ship in Africa.)

I should have been voted under some title such as "Most likely to be a mad scientist." So many ideas, so many possibilities...

I think I would've been voted "most likely to disappear into the background" by most of my classmates. However, those who knew me well back then (20 years ago? really?!?) might have selected me for the "most likely to dance or roller skate my way through life." None of those happened to come true though.

What a fun question, I probably should have been chosen "most likely to leave California." I am so...SOOO glad to be in Michigan, though you never would have known when I was in high school eerrr uuummm uuhhh years ago ;) (LOL actually almost 25!)

I think we decided back then a friend of mine, Michelle, and I were voted most likely to ditch, get caught, and get out of it!

If I had attended high school, I probably would have been labeled as the one most likely to improve.

I actually got voted as "Laziest", which I think works just fine...

Most Likely To Be In Hysterics, I suspect, since they nicknamed me Laughalot. Maybe also most likely to get a PhD (though I'm still working on that one).

Yikes. My most likely title should have been something that was questionable. I was so confused. I had no idea where I was going. School prepared me for nothing. I knew nothing about where I had been or where I was going. Most likely to know nothing about my future. Most likely.
