How it works

Who's got the time to journal daily? You do.

1. Read the daily writing prompt.
2. Push "Play" on the timer on the right side of the screen.
3. Spend 60 seconds or less writing a response to the daily prompt.

You may respond in the "Comments" section of each post, if your response is family-friendly. Or you can use your word processor, or an old-fashioned pen and paper. It's up to you. Also feel free to use the "Comments" section for informal discussion about the responses that are posted.

If the daily prompt inspires you to write something on your own blog or website, please link back to this site.

Today, take a minute to write!

Today's Writing Prompt: Skywriter

Imagine you have hired a skywriter. What message will the plane "write" on the sky, and where will it fly?

One-Minute Writing of the Day:
Writer: Stu Pidasso

It would fly over Houston and tell my kids I loved them ("I love you Vana and Miles!").

Congratulations on another win, Stu Pidasso! I love the pure "Aww" factor of your response.

Mine would say...

"The best way to find out if you trust someone is to trust them. Fall in love whenever you can, it's beautiful."

I would write it over as many skies as possible.

Because it's 1 week away, I'd have to hire a skywriter to advertise for my a cappella group's fall concert CRUNKAPELLA which is Saturday Nov 14th at 8pm. Obviously, I'd want him/her to write it over campus and hopefully it would inspire all the students to come to our concert (either rather than or in addition to the other 12 a cappella concerts at our school).

I don't believe we could better John Lennon's plea to

"Give Peace a Chance!"

Write it all over the world, simultaneously.
