the perfect new year's eve kiss doesn't happen at midnight. it happens either later or earlier... depending on when we are awake, together and alone. it begins when i gently hold the side of his face in my hand and it begins to take shape as he looks, surprised, pleased, and questioning, into my eyes. tonight marks another year. they've all been good.
It's New Year's Eve. It's midnight. There are lips. I kiss them. They kiss me back. Perfect.
In bed, at camp, trying to stay awake after a charred hot dog on the bonfire, old man at my side. It has been forty three years of New Year' s midnights. Big smooch! Perfect...
A perfect midnight kiss for me would be with a girl that I've just met on a new year's eve party and, later on, she turns out to be the one:)
Caressed by the soft glow of Christmas tree lights, looking up at the mistletoe hanging from the chandelier, the count begins...10,9,8... smiling in anticipation...7,6,5...holding hands...4,3,2...leaning forward slightly with eyes closed...1, gently kissing warm welcoming lips, silently bidding goodbye to last year. Suddenly eyes open in a warm hug, feeling excitement to begin a New Year!
New Year's Eve. A night full of wonders! When the Navy Blue dark carpet takes over the night and turns on the starry night song. The Eyes revolves to find another pair of eyes that has the same glare. pulled towards each other as the countdown begins. Distance is getting closer and closer. Eyes are closed, souls are melted with Kiss of the starry night song. Eyes opened with applause from the tiny stars above. Saying " Happy New Year "
