Both! I think I'd pay off my car, save some, give some, and do something special like a family trip.
Sweet! I know exactly what to do. First I bank half - a nice boost to my savings. Then I book a 7-day Fall cruise with balcony to Honduras and Grand Cayman, my favorite places to dive/snorkel. With the rest of the money, I call for estimates to fix the ceiling in the bathroom. Anything left over, it's lobster and steak for me and my better half.
Follow my long-standing rule of windfalls: spend a third, savea third, give a third away.
I answered this early this morning and it's not on here so I'll give it another try.
I would immediately arrange to take my two daugthers to Machu Picchu. They'd love it it and Cuzco. Since I know the company I'd use to arrange the tour, I know I'd have money left over to later go to Australia alone. A windfall at this point in my life probably should be saved but instead I'd enjoy the hell out of it.
Travel the world, then go someplace else! I have traveled the U.S. and Mexico but I want to have an adventure abroad. No saving, some giving.sTTaye
First and foremost, I would pay off my student loan;) and then, I quess, after squandering some of it on partying, I would put aside some money to go to work abroad during the summer vacation, pay for course in public speeches, and, for the rest of it, buy my parents some presents;)
First i would like to clear out my debts and ill give something to my family and with the remaining amount ill go out for a vacation with my family.
