Oooohhh, that is hard. Do I choose Val Kilmer, my very first ever movie star crush? Or maybe Ewan MacGregor - I could just watch him smile all day while we talk about Star Wars, my husband would like that.
Or should I go more serious? George Stephanopolous? George W. Bush?
If it could be a time traveling date, and the person doesn't have to be quite so famous, I would definitely choose Doc Holliday. There is so much more there to be discovered!
Tough question - I don't think I have an answer!
I don't have to think too much to answer this. I choose Dave Kalstein. I want to ask him everything there is to know about writing and his work, the genre and books he prefers to read and how it affected him, and the most important part, I want to get to know his personality.
I'm not interested in "dating" him, but I'd certainly love to spend an evening talking to the Dalai Lama. Not only is he wise, he has a sense of humor and I know a talk with him would be deeply meaningful.
I would go back in time
Get a date with a handsome king
Dream of being in love
Dream of Ludwig II of Bavaria
He built nice palaces
He loved Elizabeth of Austria
He was famous in his worldHe is unknown now
I would choose to have dinner with Pope Francis. I would love to be blessed by his presence. I believe he is a holy man with much to offer.

Nora Ephron, I know she's gone, but a lunch back in the day would be my choice. She was a pioneer. Her writing is dazzling. I always wished I could just talk with her about her life and times.
Writer (now deceased) Helene Hanff. Discovered her amazing body of work a few years back. Sitting at a sidewalk cafe with her in New York would have been exquisite.
Oscar Wilde- His humor, wit, eclectic style, handsome good looks, and story-telling. I would cling to his every word.
